One Touch Of Nature Makes The Whole World Kin\u200b<\/h2><\/div>

The Parassinkkadavu Snake Park is situated in Anthoor Municipality, about 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) from Kannur Corporation in the Kannur district of north Kerala, south India. The park is located in Parassinikkadavu, which is 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from National Highway (NH) 17, en route from Kannur to Taliparamba.

The park is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of snakes, many of which are gradually becoming extinct. It features live shows where trained personnel interact with various snakes, including cobras and vipers, aiming to dispel myths and superstitions about these reptiles.<\/p>

Snake Bite Treatment Center<\/h4><\/div>

The Pappinisseri Visha Chikitsa Society, a Snake Bite Treatment Center, was established in 1964 at Pappinisseri, Kannur, Kerala. Founded in honor of the late Sri. C.P. Kumaran Vaidyar, the center focuses on advanced clinical research and documentation in Agada Tantra. Since its inception, it has treated and documented over a million snake bite cases. Dr. B. Prabhakaran was the main physician for a significant period.<\/p>

The park offers educational programs and workshops for schools, colleges, and other groups. These programs focus on snake conservation, biology, and safety measures to take in case of snake encounters.<\/p>
